i wondered if you had the time

of day

it wouldn’t suit you if i did

and so one swears that, after all of this un-going,

this is where it all begins

but if time is all you want,

there’s an abundance of that

it’s finding the time to get along

that’s really the thing

oh, it’s no bother; happy to do it

quite satisfied just to be

such simple elegance in that

to where all should

long to be

be that as it may,

i say

be that as it must

get along with it however you can

whatever your serendipity suits.
